Staff - Monkeyland and Birds of Eden
Management & Office Staff - Chantal

Chantal joined the SAASA team on the 1st February 2015 and is the Accountant for all three of our sanctuaries and works in our Monkeyland offices.

Chantal has not worked for an animal sanctuary before and says that being around the monkeys is really special.  She also says that all of her colleagues are awesome.

As well as working, Chantal is currently studying for her CFA (Certified Financial Accountant) and hopes to qualify in November 2015.  Any free time she has, she likes to spend with her son and daughter.

Did you know.......?  Chantal suffers from a fear of spiders.

Receptionists & Curio Staff - Megan

Megan joined our team on the 1st December 2014 and works in the Monkeyland and Birds of Eden curio shops.

What she most enjoys about working here is the friendly staff she works alongside.

In her free time, Megan likes to go to her local church.

What she does in her spare time: go to church

Birds Of Eden Guides - Nceba

Nceba joined Birds of Eden on the 11th January 2015.  His responsibilities include general maintenance, feeding and giving guided tours.  

What he most enjoys about his role is that he is able to learn so much about all our different animals.

In his free time, Nceba enjoys playing soccer and watching TV, particularly Animal Planet.

 

Did you know...........?  Nceba speaks five languages!

Food Prep And Maintenance - Nobesuthu

Nobesuthu joined our team in December 2014 and works in our farm kitchen, preparing all the food for our birds and primates.  

She most enjoys being able to see all the different species of bird that we have at the sanctuary.

In her free time, Nobesuthu likes to go to church and enjoys having time to relax. 

Did you know..............? Nobesuthu has a fear of snakes and lions.

Birds Of Eden Guides - Chrissie

Chrissie joined the Birds of Eden food and maintenance team in September 2012.  As well as feeding the birds, she is responsible for cleaning the hospital and the forest boardwalks.  She also prunes the trees and bushes around the forest and helps out with general maintenance of the sanctuary.  In 2015, Chrissie will start conducting guided tours.
Chrissie says that she likes everything about Birds of Eden and her job here!
In her free time, Chrissie likes to catch up with friends.
 
Did you know................? Chrissie has an aversion to pineapple............and frogs!
