Sauvage In Berlin

Sauvage opened her doors in May 2011, in the vibrant Kreuzköllner Kiez. After six months of hard labour we've transformed a former brothel into a small restaurant with great ambition. Sauvage represents the first Paleolithic - or Prehistoric- restaurant on the Eurasian continent. Rumor has it that Sauvage might in fact be the first restaurant of sorts in the whole World.

With a lot of love and devotion we'd like to take you on a culinary time travel, a trip on our rollercoaster of taste explosions to a creative, saporous outburst for your senses.

We welcome you to the warm heart of our primal kitchen. Come and taste. Discover. Enjoy.

Seafood Cafe - Plettenberg Bay

After a lifetime of coastal living and a year spent sailing the oceans, young married couple Wayne and Louise Craig had a dream to settle in Plettenberg Bay, and create a place they could call home. And that’s exactly what they did with Off The Hook: A cosy little corner shop on the piesang valley circle, Shop 8 Beacon Isle Center.

Offering that great home cooked taste that no one can resist, a feel good vibe and laid-back environment, Off The Hook is the perfect spot to take the family, walk off the beach for a coffee, or enjoy a romantic dinner for two (candles included).

With the freshest ingredients, the warmest smiles, and the goodness of great tasting chow Off The Hook aims to warm your heart, and your tummy. Try their mouth watering calamari, the breakfast on the go, or their very popular “a little bit of everything” for the indecisive and hungry.

Check them out at or contact Wayne or Louise on 044 533 0796 for more info. And as Wayne and Louise like to say: “The wait is long gone, the taste is never forgotten, we cook to order.” And of course, where you’re always welcome.

Shumwari 111

We would like to introduce you to a new 48ft power catamaran, starting operation in Mosselbay.  As with the current situation at Pinnacle Point, we would like to offer you an exclusive membership on the Shumwari III.  What the membership entails, is anytime usage of the vessel, up to three hours and booking availability, for any of your charters, may it be a birthday, anniversary, fishing or just a sunset cruise with a braai onboard.

This is a luxury vessel with four double rooms, open plan dining area inside, full kitchen and bar counter, bridge with beautiful seating and views, and lots of space at the back for all your fishing needs.

With all charters, platters will be included for you, and you can bring your own alcoholic beverages.  Water, juice and cold drinks will be for sale on the vessel.  We can charter for up to 10 persons at a time.

The membership is R2000 per month, with a contract of a year.  There is no limit to your amount of bookings per month but it is subjected to 24hr advanced booking availability and weather conditions.  This membership will be available from November 2010, and will ensure your exclusive use.

You can use this membership either for your own personal use, like marketing or business meetings, year end functions or just for you and your family.  Or you can use this membership as an activity for your clients or guests, either charging them a fee (which then is yours e.g. R150.00 per person) or include a cruise in the packages you offer.  The bottom line is then that you / your company only pay the monthly membership fee and have usage of the yacht, and whatever you charge your clients and guests is yours.

Strawberries For Africa! Pick Your Own

Do something different this summer..

If you are looking for a fun and original day out, there is nothing that rivals the Redberry Farm experience along the scenic Garden Route of South Africa.

As one enters the farming area just outside George on the Geelhoutboom road you will be in awe of the rows and rows of strawberries in what is now known as “Strawberry Country”. Redberry Farm is the first beacon that greets tourists along the beautiful Outeniqua Country Hop Route where one is lured in by the sweet aroma of ripe berries.

Once you’ve made a choice of what container to use you will be guided to the “pick your own fields” taking a carefree walk though the farm with the majestic Outeniqua mountains in the background. Friendly staff are always keen to answer your questions and share about the inner secrets of the strawberry.
