Formal Fsc Complaint

Dear fellow environmentalist and animal right activist, according to unofficial numbers more than 1000 (!) baboons have been killed by the timber industry in the past 2 years in South Africa. The usual practice is to catch the baboons, stuff them into special cages and shoot one by one or gas them. We cannot and do not want to accept this. It is time to take action in the last days of 2010, the international year of biodiversity.

What Are Birds?

Birds are warm-blooded vertebrate animals that have wings, feathers, a beak, no teeth, strong hollow bones, a skeleton in which many bones are fused together or are absent, powerful flight muscles, and an extremely efficient, one-way breathing system. Most birds can fly. Birds have a very strong heart and an efficient way of breathing - these are necessary for birds to fly. Birds also use a lot of energy while flying and need to eat a lot of food to power their flight.
