As a destination we see incentive travel as a strong contributor toward the growth of business tourism in the Western Cape . The award comes as an important boost to Cape Town ’s profile in light of the destination hosting the forthcoming SITE conference in December 2010. We look forward to showcasing Cape Town and the Western Cape ’s offerings to the global incentives industry.”

Other famed international destinations that were featured on the list include Dubai and New York .

“Hats off to our local Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and our innovative incentive products as they craft and host the incentive packages on behalf of the international incentive buyers.
